Reuters is an international news agency headquartered in London, tracing its origin to Paul Julius Reuter's telegraph news service founded in 1851. It is one of the largest news agencies in the world, supplying text, video and pictures to newspapers, broadcasters and financial institutions, and has operated since 2008 as a division of the Canadian information conglomerate Thomson Reuters.
