Ma'an News Agency is a wire service operating in the Palestinian territories, run by the independent, non-governmental Ma'an Network, which was founded in 2002 by Raed Othman, with the news agency itself launching in 2005. Headquartered in Bethlehem with an additional office in Gaza City, it publishes around-the-clock coverage in Arabic, Hebrew and English, partners with television and radio stations across the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and is funded through advertising and international donors including early Danish and Dutch government support.
