JP/Politikens Hus is a Danish media company headquartered in Viby J, formed on 1 January 2003 by the merger of the publishing houses behind two of Denmark's leading broadsheet newspapers, Jyllands-Posten and Politiken. Beyond those two newspapers the company owns the tabloid Ekstra Bladet, the financial paper Finans and the Watch Medier publications, and it also operates in book publishing, printing and local newspapers in Denmark and Sweden; each of its newspapers keeps editorial independence from the others despite the shared corporate ownership. It also published the free daily 24timer from 2006 until 2013.
