Europa Press is a Spanish news agency founded in 1953 that broadcasts news around the clock, publishing an average of 3,000 articles per day. It was originally founded as a book distribution company by five monarchists and became a news agency in 1966, and it competes with the state-run news agency Agencia EFE.
