AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA) is a multilingual news agency operated by the Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly, an international non-governmental organization based in Iran. The assembly was established in 1990 by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei together with a group of Shiite scholars, with the core objective of identifying, organizing, educating and supporting followers of Ahl al-Bayt, the family of the Prophet Muhammad.
