Demirören News Agency, known by the initials DHA, is a Turkish news organization founded in 1999 and based in Istanbul, distributing news in Turkish, English, German and Chinese. It began as Doğan Haber Ajansı under the Doğan Media Group and was known for coverage critical of Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. In March 2018 ownership passed to the Demirören Group, whose head has close ties to the Turkish government, and the agency now runs a network of offices across the country and abroad.
