Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden

Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden is an 80-hectare film and television production complex in Leavesden, Watford, Hertfordshire, England. The site began in 1940 as Leavesden Aerodrome, an aircraft factory, and was converted into a working studio in 1994 when Eon Productions used it to film the James Bond picture GoldenEye. Warner Bros. Entertainment bought the site in November 2010, rebranded it Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, and has since invested more than 100 million pounds refurbishing it. The complex now rents out about 50,000 square meters of sound stages, production offices, workshops and backlot space to film and television productions, and it also houses the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, an exhibition built around the sets, props and costumes of the Harry Potter films that draws thousands of visitors a day.
