Indie Rights, Inc. is an American film distributor specializing in independent cinema, founded in 2007 as a subsidiary of Nelson Madison Films and based in Los Angeles. Founders Linda Nelson and Michael Madison built the company from an informal online group offering guidance on independent film distribution into a formal distributor working mainly through video-on-demand platforms such as Amazon Video, Google Play, Hulu and iTunes, distributing more than 450 films by early 2018.
