Gunpowder & Sky is a Los Angeles-based independent studio, founded in January 2016 by Van Toffler and Floris Bauer, that develops and produces films, television series, podcasts and live and experiential events from offices in Los Angeles and New York. It also operates genre-focused streaming channels under the free ad-supported television model, including the science fiction channel DUST, the horror channel ALTER, the paranormal-documentary channel Alien Nation and the viral-content channel Cut.
