Grindhouse Releasing

Grindhouse Releasing is a Hollywood based independent cult film distribution company founded in 1996 by film editor Bob Murawski and co-founder Sage Stallone. It digitally remasters and restores rare, lesser known independent cult films, producing bonus materials and video documentaries for DVD and Blu-ray release under its CAV label, with notable restorations of Italian horror films such as Lucio Fulci's The Beyond and Ruggero Deodato's Cannibal Holocaust, as well as Sam Raimi's The Evil Dead. The company has been compared to the Criterion Collection for its cult cinema presentations and received a Satellite Award in 2015 for its restoration of Frank Perry's The Swimmer.
