New Day Films is a member-owned film distribution cooperative founded in 1971 by filmmakers Liane Brandon, James Klein, Julia Reichert and Amalie R. Rothschild. Based out of an office in Newburgh, New York, it distributes documentaries on subjects such as social history, gender and health to colleges, libraries and community groups, and its member films have won two Academy Awards and been broadcast on PBS series including P.O.V. and Independent Lens.
