Corriganville Movie Ranch

Corriganville Movie Ranch was a working film studio and movie ranch for outdoor location shooting, as well as a Western themed tourist attraction, in the foothills of the Santa Susana Mountains in Simi Valley, Ventura County, California. It was owned by the actor and stuntman Ray Corrigan, known by the nickname Crash, who bought the land in 1937 and built its structures between 1938 and 1939, and it operated as a public tourist attraction from 1949 to 1965. Wildfires destroyed the property in 1970 and 1979, and the site is now a public park, Corriganville Park, operated by the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District after the City of Simi Valley acquired it in 1988.
