Shepperton Studios is a film and television studio in Shepperton, Surrey, England, with origins going back to 1931 when it opened as Sound City. The facility has 31 sound stages of varying sizes, including several equipped with interior tanks for water and underwater filming, and it provides production, special effects and post-production services.
