Pathe News was a British-French producer of newsreels and documentaries active in the United Kingdom from 1910 to 1970. It was founded by Charles Pathe, a pioneer of moving pictures in the silent era, and operated as the British arm of the French Pathe film empire. Its archive of news film and documentaries, now fully digitised and available online, survives today under the name British Pathe.
