Minerva Film was an Italian film production and distribution company active from 1912 to 1956, named after the Roman goddess Minerva. Originally a distributor that handled major foreign productions for release in Italy, it grew into one of the major companies of the later Fascist period alongside Lux, Titanus, and Scalera Film, both distributing and producing films through its subsidiary Excelsa Film before going into liquidation in 1956.
