The Estonian Culture Film was a state subsidized movie studio established in Estonia in 1931 by the Ministry of Culture, initially mostly distributing films before developing its own production using equipment and training obtained in Germany. Placed under the Ministry of Internal Affairs in 1936 alongside the founding of the Estonian Film Archives, it mainly produced popular science documentaries recording everyday life in Estonia.
