Constantin Film is a German film production and distribution company headquartered in Munich, founded in 1950 by Waldfried Barthel. It grew into one of the largest and most commercially successful film companies in the German-speaking world, producing internationally released titles such as the Resident Evil film series, Perfume: The Story of a Murderer and Das Boot, alongside domestic German-language hits including the Fack ju Goehte comedy series, among the highest-grossing films in German box office history. The company remains a major force in both German domestic cinema and English-language genre film co-production.
