Prosus N.V. is a Dutch investment group headquartered in Amsterdam that invests and operates across sectors and markets with long-term growth potential, ranking among the world's largest technology investors, with products and services reaching over 1.5 billion people across 89 markets in social networking, gaming, classifieds, payments, fintech, edtech, food delivery, real estate listings, and ecommerce. Founded on April 3, 1997 as Myriad International Holdings, Prosus is majority owned by South African media company Naspers and has been listed on Euronext Amsterdam under the ticker PRX since September 2019, also trading on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange; it is most notable for its early 2001 investment in Tencent, in which it still holds a 22.996 percent stake. The company employed about 20,882 people as of 2024 and reported FY2025 revenue of 6.17 billion dollars and net income of 12.36 billion dollars.
