Emirates Telecommunications Group Company, known by its rebranded corporate identity "e&" since 2022 and still operating its home-market services under the long-standing Etisalat brand, is the United Arab Emirates' leading telecommunications operator, headquartered in Abu Dhabi. Founded in 1976 as the country's first telecom operator, it remains majority owned by the UAE federal government through Emirates Investment Authority, and it has grown into a diversified multinational group spanning telecommunications, digital services, fintech and international investment activities.
