Team17

Team17 Digital Limited is a British video game developer and publisher based in Wakefield, England, formed in December 1990 through the merger of British publisher 17-Bit Software and Swedish developer Team 7. Its first release was Full Contact in 1991 for the Amiga, and the studio found lasting success with Andy Davidson's Worms in 1995, a franchise it has continued to develop with more than twenty entries. Debbie Bestwick, one of the founders, led a management buyout in 2010 and served as chief executive until January 1, 2024, and the company later began publishing indie games and became a public company under the Team17 Group.
