Gary Hamel

Gary P. Hamel (born 1954) is an American management consultant, author and professional speaker who is a founder of the international consulting firm Strategos, based in Chicago. Educated at the University of Michigan, Hamel became one of the best known writers on corporate strategy of his generation, publishing widely read work on subjects such as core competence and strategic innovation, much of it developed alongside fellow scholar C. K. Prahalad.
